On 7^th June 2011, Bahing Kirat Mulukhim, district committee, Okhaldhunga, wrote a delegation letter to four major political parties existing in the district; Nepali congress district committee, Okhaldhunga, CPN-UML district committee, Okhaldhunga, UCPN-Maoist, and National Democratic Party district committee, Okhaldhunga, regarding the enlistment of Bahing community in the official list of Nepal government.... . After the thorough discussion with the parties a recommendation letter to the chairman(Primeminister) of National Foundation for the Development of Indigenous Nationalities(NFDIN) was submitted regarding the enlistment of Bahing community in the official list as per the Indigenous Peoples rights mentioned in ILO C 169.
