This book “Bahing Barnamala” and “Ekke Katha”was throughly discussed in a 15 day long workshop held from 10 to 24 January, 2008. It was then sent to the press for publication. The workshop was participated by Bahing representatives from Khotang, Solukhumbu and Okhaldhunga. It was the first time that the Bahing people had themselves involved in the process of preserving and developing their language in the history. The necessary technical support for writing and publication of this book was given by Dr Maureen B. Lee from Singapore. In the Bahing Barnamala(Bahing Alphabet) a new sound phonetically an implosive sound has been determined and included in the alphabet. Dr. Lee from whose technical support this book has been possible to come out in this form and for this, to whom the Kirat Bahing Mulukhim on behalf of all Bahing people would like to express heart felt gratitude.
